Firenzen high fashion -kadulla Via Tornabuonilla sijaitsee myös Salvatore Ferragamon liike. Yksi Ferragamon julkisuuteen nostaneista malleista oli Marilyn Monroen rakastama metallivahvisteisten stilettokorkojen avokaspari. Näitä liikkeen ikkunassa oli nostettu näkyviin monessa herkullisessa värissä.
